The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. (TGOD) (TSX: TGOD) announced on May 18th that their facility in Ontario is now an Ecocert recognized organic facility. The facility received organic certification from Ecocert Canada on May 9th.
Ecocert Canada is a world-leading and globally recognized leader in organic certification. The company performs inspections and provides a certification that aims to maintain rigid standards for organic cultivation practices. The Ecocert inspection covers every phase of cultivation and production to ensure that the integrity of organic products is withheld throughout the production process.
Receiving the Ecocert certification is a key move in TGOD’s process of expanding to become the most recognized and leader of organic cannabis in the world.
TGOD closed on the date of the announcement to a 0.80% increase in value. Over the last 5 days of trading TGOD has increased by 3.55% in value, however, it is at an 8.80% decrease from its highest point of value in early May.
