Organigram Holdings Announces Agreement to Acquire 25% of alpha-cannabis®
Organigram Holdings Inc. (OTCQX: OGRMF) announced on October 17th it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 25% of alpha-cannabis® Pharma GmbH (Alpha-Cannabis). The company’s subsidiary, 1087027 Canada Inc., will act as the purchaser that acquires the 8,333 shares of Alpha-Cannabis. An aggregated and early total for the stake acquisition is at €1,625,000.
After the close of the transaction, Organigram will begin its supply agreement to Alpha-Cannabis. The company will supply dried flower to Alpha-Cannabis and, in turn, will receive cannabidiol (CBD) isolates from Alpha-Cannabis.
Organigram has also agreed to pay Alpha-Cannabis a total of €875,000 upon meeting specific requirements.
