Okanagan College to Offer Cannabis Cultivation and Business Courses
Okanagan College became the first college in British Columbia to offer a course that focuses on cannabis in fall of 2017. However, the college has expanded its curriculum to offer multiple cannabis-focused educational courses. A popular cannabis course offered at the college is the “Growing Your Own Cannabis” course and is already at max capacity. Other available courses revolve around the business elements of cannabis, controlling greenhouse pests, and retail sales environment training. In the course material creation process, the college has teamed with industry experts to ensure the curriculum aligns with the industry.
