MedMen Announces Broken Ground on New Cultivation and Manufacturing Facility
MedMen Enterprises announced on May 22nd that the company has broken ground on their new cannabis cultivation and manufacturing facility. MedMen’s new second facility is located in Desert Hot Springs, California.
The company recently inaugurated its first factory in Mustang, Nevada, which also happens to be the largest and most technologically advanced facility in the state.
This new California facility will share many similarities in design with the facility located in Nevada.
Both facilities will share a 26,000 sq. ft. Dutch-style greenhouse with a controlled environment and a 19,000 sq. ft. manufacturing wing. There will also be two extraction rooms, an industrial kitchen, and a tissue culture lab. Each cultivation facility is able to produce 10,000 pounds of cannabis on an annual basis.
