Khiron Life Sciences Announces 4x Cultivation Expansion in Colombia

Khiron Life Sciences Corp. (TSXV: KHRN) announced on August 2nd that the company’s area of cultivation has been expanded by the Colombian Ministry of Justice to 17.5 hectares of land. Existing cultivation space is continuous to the newly expanded space and is now a cultivation area 4 times greater than before. The cultivation area was increased to meet the demand of 1 million medical cannabis patients in Colombia.

The total estimate for cannabis flower grown on this space is now 100,000 kilograms of dry flower that will be extracted and processed into high-grade forms for medical use. As of now, the company can only yield 8,000 kilograms of dry flower with the currently installed cultivation capacity.
