GrowHealthy Plans Grand Opening for Daytona and Orlando Cannabis Dispensaries
Lake Wales-based GrowHealthy, a vertically integrated cannabis operator, and its parent company, iAnthus Capital Holdings, Inc. (“iAnthus”), (CSE: IAN) (OTCQX: ITHUF), announced it will be hosting the grand opening of its fourth and fifth dispensaries in Florida. The celebrations will be held on July 4 -7 in its 1,909 square-foot dispensary located at 2525 West International Speedway Blvd., Daytona Beach and on July 12 -13 at its 2,800-square-foot dispensary on 7858 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando.
The grand opening will be open to the public with medical patient attendees receiving 30% off on their purchases, excluding flowers. Shoppers will also get a free swag bag for any purchase worth $125 or more.
The new dispensaries will help the company build better inroads to Florida’s estimated 200,000 registered patients who use medical cannabis for their pain and other symptoms. The new dispensaries will offer a variety of locally sourced, lab-tested cannabis products including flower and pre-rolls, vape cartridges, topical salves, and oral dispensing syringes. All GrowHealthy products are quality controlled to the highest degree, tested for heavy metals, solvents and microbial contaminants.
“This year, Florida has taken a massive step in improving its medical marijuana law by allowing the sale of cannabis in its natural flower form and we plan to expand accordingly to supply the growing demand,” said Randy Maslow, President of iAnthus. “Though Florida’s medical cannabis market is large, it remains underserved by the limited number of dispensaries currently operating. As we continue to build out and open dispensaries around the state, we look forward to serving Florida’s 230,000 registered patients with high quality, tested, and consistently-dosed medical cannabis products, as well as education and superior patient support.”
Aside from its Daytona and Orlando cannabis dispensaries, GrowHealthy also operates three dispensaries in Florida. These are located in Lake Worth, Brandon, and its flagship store located in West Palm Beach. The company plans to open additional dispensaries for 2019 with a total target of 30 dispensaries by the end of 2020.
