Green Growth Brands Inc. (OTCQB: GGBXF) announced on July 11th that the company officially received a purchase order for cannabidiol (CBD) infused products from American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (NYSE: AEO). The CBD-infused products included within the purchase order are specified as personal care products and are planned to be sold within close to 500 American Eagle retail store locations and on the American Eagle online website.
All CBD-infused products provided by Green Growth Brands, like lotions and balms, will contain CBD that is derived or extracted from hemp. Green Growth Brand’s purchase order from American Eagle marks the third major wholesale agreement that the company has received since the 2018 Farm Bill was passed in December of the same year. The 2018 Farm Bill, or the Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018, imposed a reclassification of hemp to an “agricultural commodity” and effectively fully legalized the crop.

Sales of CBD-infused products online and at American Eagle retail locations are expected to start in October of 2019.
