elevate-753477-unsplashThe cannabis beverage industry is expected to amount to $600 million by the year 2022 and Flying Dog Brewery is well-positioned to take a piece of the market.

The company recently released a THC-infused and non-alcoholic beer called “Hop Chronic IPA”. Flying Dog Brewery recently partnered with Green Leaf Medical Cannabis to produce the IPA.

Chief Executive Officer of Flying Dog Brewery, Jim Caruso, stated: “For people who don’t want to smoke, don’t want to vape, there’s no path of experiencing the therapeutic benefits. It feels good to be a part of creating a delicious IPA where people who want to experience cannabis that way can do that.”

All medical cannabis products are yet to receive approval from Maryland regulators of medical cannabis in order to begin sales of edible cannabis products. Caruso, in regards to the potential difficulty of the approval process, stated: “When you have other states doing it, I think it’s a lot easier to start that regulatory approval process.”
