Curaleaf Holdings, Inc. (CSE: CURA), the parent of Massachusetts-based cannabis producer and operator CuraLeaf Inc, announced today that it opened Tallahassee’s largest medical marijuana dispensary in the city’s midtown area. This is CuraLeaf’s 16th medical marijuana dispensary in Florida and 31st nationwide.
Curaleaf has a presence in 12 states, operating 31 dispensaries, 12 cultivation sites and 10 processing sites with a focus on highly populated, limited license states, including Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York.
The company plans to release its latest financial reports on November 26, 2018.
CuraLeaf has been a leader in Florida cannabis operations. It’s Florida operations were the first in the cannabis industry to receive the Safe Quality Food certification under the Global Food Safety Initiative.
The new Tallahassee dispensary covers 6,400 square feet, offering premium products in a spacious environment with private consultation rooms. “Our presence in Tallahassee allows us to offer free daily medical marijuana delivery service to Florida’s 150,000 active patients,” said Curaleaf Florida President, Lindsay Jones.
The dispensary is located at 1345 Thomasville Road, and is open 7 days a week. Florida requires a physician’s order and a Florida medical marijuana card to buy medical marijuana.
Curaleaf aims to be a leading resource in cannabis education. The new dispensary will host monthly educational events beginning in December for patients, physicians and community members in the dispensary’s large meeting room.
