Canopy Growth to Supply Cannabis to the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation
Canopy Growth Corporation (NYSE: CGC) announced on June 29th its successfully completed supply agreement with the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation (MBLL). Canopy Growth will supply MBLL with an assortment of quality cannabis products.
In the terms of agreement between the two entities, Canopy Growth will be subject to supply the Manitoba province with up to 6,500kgs of cannabis products over twelve months after recreational sales commences.
The market for adult recreational cannabis sales in the province is scheduled to commence on October 17th, 2018.
MBLL also has the ability to extend their supply agreement with Canopy Growth for an additional year and is able to request an increase to the amount supplied.
