Canopy Growth Partners with Long Term Care Provider for Cannabis Pilot Program
Canopy Growth Corporation (NYSE: CGC) announced on October 3rd the company’s subsidiary, Spectrum Cannabis, has partnered with the Ontario Long Term Care Association (OLTCA). The company will provide OLTCA with cannabis for their pilot program which will determine the effectiveness of medical cannabis with seniors. OLTCA will pinpoint the increased wellbeing of their patients by monitoring their relief from pain, cognitive ability, and if they prefer cannabis over their previous medication.
The pilot program will consist of 500 residents and is currently considered one of the largest cannabis pilot programs.
