Aurora Cannabis Assumes Lead Investor Position with $7 Million Investment into Choom Holdings
Aurora Cannabis Inc. (OTCQB: ACBFF) announced on June 13th that the company would be completing a $7 million investment into Choom Holdings Inc. (OTCQB: CHOOF). The company will receive 9,859,155 common shares from Choom’s treasury at $0.71 per share.
This investment by Aurora into Choom Holdings is equal to an 8% ownership interest in Choom Holdings Inc.
Choom is currently operating two facilities that are late stage Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) applicants. The company also is in the process of acquiring two craft growers and a facility in Sooke, British Columbia. Additionally, these locations are anticipating a Health Canada cultivation license in Q3 of 2018.
