Aphria First to Distribute to 100% of Canada by Choosing Great North Distributors
Aphria Inc. (OTC: APHQF) announced on May 17th that the company chose Great North Distributors for distribution across 100% of Canada. Great North Distributors is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits that has full reach and access to every province of Canada. This partnership and distribution network will be in place as soon as Canada legalizes cannabis adult-use sales.
Great North Distributors will work to distribute Aphria’s cannabis products across Canada through Great North’s established connections with provincial and privately owned retailers. The company will also establish a cannabis sales team to act as a sales representative for Aphria’s wide range of cannabis products.
APHQF has only decreased due to this news. On the date of the announcement APHQF stock decreased in value by 5.19%. However, despite the decrease on the 17th, over the last 5 days APHQF has increased 8.27%.
