Green Thumb Industries (CSE: GTII) announced on June 12th that the company has been awarded five dispensaries licenses by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. This is currently the maximum number of licenses held by one entity. The total number of applicants totaled to 375 and only 56 licenses were awarded.
Green Thumb will open five dispensary locations in Northern Ohio. Two locations will be opened in the populated Lakewood, Ohio area.
