FCM Global S.A.S, a medical cannabis producer based in the country of Columbia, has received a license from the Columbia government to produce and legally export low-THC cannabis oil extracts for medical and research purposes.
FCM is the first company to receive a complete set of all four licenses from Columbia, allowing it to cultivate, manufacture, distribute and export.
The company believes that its ideal equatorial growing location in Columbia, combined with a strong talent pool, will give it a strong low-cost strategy from which to compete globally in the expanding legal market.
The company is based in Medellin with operations in La Ceja.
